I wanted some earbuds that had a loop since usually the earbuds on my right ear tend to slip out.These stayed in while running thanks to the hooks, and I was also less worried about losing an earbud if it fell out.Sound great too

***UPDATED REVIEW***The 1st set I ordered wouldn't turn on.I returned the headphones to Amazon andrequested a replacement of the same headphones. I received the 2ndheadphones yesterday and charged them overnight. Today, I turned them onand they paired perfectly with my devices.I am now very happy with these headphones.I especially appreciate the fact that the manufacturer reached out to me asking if they could help me.

It's really hard to find good quality earbuds at an affordable price. It seems to be even harder to find them with a neckband. I prefer the neckband because I can easily pull one out to listen to one of the kiddos without losing it. I can't count the times I took an earbud out and set it down while doing something only to forget about it and not be able to find it later. Anyway, these have the neckband so I'm not going to lose them, and the sound quality is good. Yes, I've found better sound quality but not by much and it's been some pretty high dollar earbuds. These are comfortable to wear as well, which is a deciding factor for me. The only place these fall short is battery life, and even that isn't by much. I get more than an 8 hr day out of these, so I'm happy with them.

I have very soft and wide ear canals. Almost always any in-ear headphones will fall off within a couple minutes of wear, especially with light movement. These Edifier Earbuds has an additional soft extension which holds to the antihelix of my ear and this assures stability and adherence, even when I do yard work. Not to mention that the headbands assures there's no losing singular buds no matter what. The active noise cancelling really works. I tested it while weed-whacking, both on active noise cancelling and normal modes. It makes a big difference between the modes. Of course, there's no way of drowning out a motor of a weed-whacker unless there's also music playing at the same time. The sound doesn't sound as balanced, light, and airy as the best recordings or actually being at an auditorium. However, these headphones can really get me into "my zone" with the music no matter the activity that I engage in.

I am very disappointed that there is no active noise cancelling which is why I purchased these. Other then that they work well.
